FAQ

What rights does the bot need in a chat?
Admin rights — without them Telegram doesn’t tell the bot about new members joining. The bot posts messages in the chat itself; it can’t write on your behalf or ban anyone.
Will the bot spam the chat?
A summary appears when a new member joins — one card per person. Fishing alerts go to your DMs, not to the chat, and repeats from one chat are merged into one message.
How does the bot know about someone who just joined?
From public groups and channels already in the base: what anyone can see in Telegram after joining them. The service does not collect private chats or correspondence — see “Legal status of the service”.
Will my members end up in the base?
The base includes public chats that you or other users send to the bot. A private chat stays private. Anyone can hide themselves from the results.
I have several chats and assistants. What should I do?
The bot can be added to any number of chats — for free. Checks are taken from the balance of whoever runs them, so it’s easier for assistants to have their own requests: everyone gets five free ones.
