FAQ
Is it legal?
The bot shows messages and membership in publicpublic groups and channels — what anyone can see in Telegram after joining them. The service does not collect private chats, correspondence or personal data. Details are in the document “Legal status of the service”.
Do you show passport, phone or address?
No. Telescan is not a data-leak lookup. We show how a person behaves on Telegram: where they are, what they wrote, what they were called before, who is around them. That’s usually enough to decide “send the money or not”, and passport data isn’t needed for that decision anyway.
What if the report comes back empty?
It happens: a person may barely write in public chats. An empty report is an answer too: an account that has left no trace anywhere deserves extra caution. To make the base fuller, send the bot a link to a chat it doesn’t have yet — for every such chat you get +2 requests.
What do I need to check a person?
An ID or username. The easiest way is to forward any message from that person to the bot — it will pick up the ID itself.
Will they know I checked them?
The person may get a notification that someone searched for them — but without saying who. The service never reveals who sent the request.
